Booker’s Book is Making Bank

Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) received $325,000 in royalties in 2016 from his book,United, according to his most recent financial disclosure form. Lawmakers are required to disclose their personal finances annually. The senator had received $400,000 in royalties for the book in 2015. The book focuses on the lessons Booker learned as a community activist, Newark mayor, and then as a senator, and came out in 2016 amid rumors he was being considered as a potential running mate for Hillary Clinton. More here.
